Heather Bragg

Lead Designer

I am graphic designer and writer with more than 13 years of experience.

My career began in the newspaper world, where tight deadlines and creativity must work together. Throughout the years, I've held many hats in newsrooms throughout the Lowcountry and in the Midwest as writer, editor and graphic designer — sometimes separately, sometimes all at once.

Design services include a full array of marketing collateral: logos/branding, business cards, brochures, presentation folders, fliers, newsletters, mailings, letterheads/envelopes, etc. In addition to print design, I can also handle online work, such as websites, e-blasts, e-newsletters, advertising and social media sites.

You might recognize my work with Sheri's Edible Designs, Two Tomatoes Catering, Hilton Head Monthly, Golfer's Guide, Atlantic Ophthalmology, Southern Graces, Plums, Saltus …

I'm also founder of www.LowcountryChild.com, a family friendly website that serves as a one-stop-shop of information about events, activities, businesses, tips, advice, blogs, forums and more throughout the Lowcountry.

Lowcountry Child is a great example of how our team works together. The site was my brainchild and design. Ken Hawkins handled the online architecture — not only did he get the site up and running, he also managed the search engine optimization and set up some out-of-the-box advertising opportunities for local businesses. Then, Ian Leslie helped me boost my social media presence with creative content ideas, custom tabs and ways to keep my fans interested. When I launched the site a little more than a year ago, Carrie Carper helped me write  a press release that she sent to her media contacts — that helped generate interest and more traffic to the site. Sally Mahan cultivates story ideas that are interesting and timely. She also writes a blog about being a grandmother.
